Terms of Service

Welcome to Comelec Internet and thank you for supporting our local business! 

This terms of service (“agreement”) is entered between Comelec Services Inc. (“Comelec”) (“us”) (“we”) and any person (“customer”) (“you”) (“your”) who subscribes to our internet service (“service”). This agreement takes effect once customer’s order for service has been accepted by Comelec. The service and any equipment provided by Comelec are governed by this agreement. By using our service, you are agreeing to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

Services and Equipment

Customer agrees to subscribe to service identified in the service order by Comelec. Comelec agrees to provide service to the agreed characteristics and price. Customer will allow us to enter your premises for installation and maintenance to ensure our service performs properly. Installation may include drilling and attaching equipment securely to the outside of the building. If you do not own the premises, we require that you obtain consent of the owner. The equipment is, and shall remain at all times, the property of Comelec. In the event equipment is lost or damaged, the customer shall be liable for replacement cost. Customer may rent or lease equipment from Comelec. Rental payment of equipment does not apply to purchase price. If equipment malfunctions at no fault to the customer, Comelec will replace equipment. Rented equipment must be returned within 30 calendar days after the cancellation date. If rented equipment is not returned within the timeframe, customer is subject to a non-returned equipment charge to the billing account on file. Customer may purchase equipment from Comelec. Customer is liable for purchased equipment if not covered by the warranty. 

Use of Service

You may not use the service in anyway that may violate the law or your agreement. Comelec does not disclose the content of private communications, except in the circumstances permitted by law.

Privacy Policy

Comelec takes precautions to protect your information. We have access to information that you voluntarily give us. Sensitive information such as credit card data is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. We do not sell or rent this information. We use your information to help us actively service your account.

Consent to Contact and Payment

Customer agrees to receive text messages, phone calls and or email alerts for purposes that are important for us to actively service your account. Purposes such as appointment reminders, customer check-ins, technical support and billing support. Customer agrees to pay up front for installation costs. Customer agrees to pay either by automatic billing or net 10 monthly charges including taxes and fees. Service will be disconnected if account reaches over 15 days past due. The customer is responsible for all invoices incurred in the event the customer is temporarily disconnected due to a non payment. The customer is not responsible for any invoices incurred after the cancellation date. There may be a charge for returned or declined payments. If any billing disputes arise, the customer is responsible for contacting Comelec to resolve.

Move or Suspension of Service

Customer may move service to new premises. Customer is subject to a fee when move includes new installation of service. Customer has option to suspend services for a period of time longer than one month with no billing fees during the time service is not active. Customer is subject to a fee upon reactivation.

Cancellation Policy

Comelec requires 30 days advance notice for all cancellations. Without proper notice, customers will not receive credits on their account for the last billing cycle. Upon cancellation, all equipment must be returned to Comelec within 30 days. If not returned in a timely matter, customer is subject to non-returned equipment fees. Comelec has the right to terminate service if customer violates this agreement.
